Dearest Community,

For many children from vulnerable communities, childhood is lost far too early—to waste picking, labour, insecurity, and neglect.
Anandghar was created to change that reality.

Anandghar is more than a learning centre. It is a safe, joyful space where children are welcomed with care, dignity, and hope; where they can learn, play, heal, and simply be children.

This year, we are taking a small but significant step forward: We are planning to initiate 5 new Anandghar by June 2026.

When people choose to support a cause, they are often drawn to program costs the visible activities that directly touch children’s lives. This support is deeply valuable. Yet, behind every impactful program lies a quieter but equally essential need: operational support.

Anandghar is a safe, joyful learning space for children from vulnerable communities—many of whom are growing up amidst waste picking, child labour, and insecurity. It is a place where children are welcomed with care, dignity, and hope; where they can learn, play, heal, and reclaim their childhood.

As we prepare to start a new Anandghar, we are seeking support to meet the basic operational and office requirements that will make this space functional and sustainable. These include:

Office Requirements
Laptops 10 35,000 350,000
Mouse 10 500 5,000

Coolers 3 5000 15,000
Miscellaneous items to set-up Fellow-Houses - - 75,000
TOTAL 8,68,500

While these needs may not always be visible, they form the backbone of our work. Operational costs ensure that the learning centre runs smoothly, teams are supported, systems are in place, and children walk into a space that is organised, safe, and dignified. Without this foundation, even the best-designed programs cannot sustain or grow.

By supporting operational expenses, you are not funding “overheads” you are investing in continuity, quality, and long-term impact.
Every desk placed, every board mounted, every system set up brings us one step closer to transforming an empty room into a space filled with learning, laughter, and possibility.
